"Oh, definitely. Just having a kinda stable family life, that's not something that everyone gets to enjoy," Sookie nodded thoughtfully, before bringing her hand to her chin. "But to have, you know, parents who also just get involved in the lives of their kids, I think that's good too. Lots of different ways to do it, obviously, but sometimes I feel like there's nothing better than just being willing to get dirty with your kids and make mud pies, or— or here, I guess, going out to make sandcastles. Stuff like that."

Folding her arms on the table, she straightens, backtracking. "Er, not to say that being reserved is a bad thing. Although, come to think of it, I never really knew a lot of reserved parents in my area growing up, so maybe I just don't really have the experience there."
