She tilts her head back and forth, a doubtful expression on her face. While she's sure that some people in the world would put anything aside, morals and sensibilities, just for the chance to peek into another person's mind, it just seems short of impossible to imagine any brother of Mathias being that way. Siblings can be different, after all, but more often there's still some similar vein that they share, and for Sookie, the trait that immediately feels singled out to her is the quiet nature, the one that listens, that doesn't push.

Imagining someone sharply curious and actively nosy is more difficult, somehow.

"Maybe," she considers. "Then again, I think of myself as being pretty curious too, and I was still so tired of being what I was and doing the things I could. It just gets a whole lot less glamorous over time."
